Enrollment Criteria

  • Aged 17 years or above.
  • Holding a valid First Aid Certificate and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) certificate (valid for at least one year).
  • Good character and satisfactory health condition (pre-joining medical examination required).
  • Adhere to discipline and work effectively as part of a team. After enrollment, you will be arranged to attend foot drill training, discipline, and team-building training sessions.
  • Wear the uniform and follow the appearance regulations while on duty.
  • Passed the selection interview.

Post Enrollment Criteria

Upon successfully joining the Brigade, the following criteria must be met:

  • Minimum one-year service commitment.
  • Participate in the "New Member Foundation Training Course" within 12 months of enrollment (mandatory). Only after passing the assessment and receiving a completion certificate can they continue to work as adult members of the Brigade.  

  • Annual efficiency requirements:
    • At least 60 service hours per year;

    • At least 60 training hours per year;

    • Attended the Annual Parade of the Brigade or Command/Corp/Division;

    • Possession of a valid First Aid and Automated External Defibrillation (AED) certificate and

    • Passed the annual First Aid and AED re-examination
